hi their

ive been looking at remington 7600 pump rifles and see that their only offerd in 243,308,30-06. i thought that they came in the 35 whelen also. did the website miss that or do they not sell them in the 35.

thanx

The new Rem pump is the 750 Woodsmaster. It comes in .243, .308, .270, .30-06, and .35 Whelen. They also offer it in a carbine chambered in .308, .30-06, and .35 Whelen.

The 7600 did not come in .35 Whelen.

The 7600 did come in 35 Whelen, but was discontinued several years ago in
Canada. If you search hard you will find one eventually, they are still in limited production in the U.S., and if you are patient I bet they will again be available in the pump. They are already chambering the CDL and 750 in it, wait and see. For what it's worth I love mine, accurate and quick.

Good luck, Homesteader

The 750 is a semi auto, not a pump. The Rem pump is still the 7600.
You may find a 7600 in .35 Whelen under "special run firearms" on the Remington site; they did a limited run last year in .35 Whelen and .35 Remington, all of which were for a couple large American distributors or dealers.

They DID come in 35Whelen. I've owned four of them over the years, still owning one.

Currently they are NOT offered in the 7600 lineup. Grice's in PA has some on a Remington special run deal.

They are great rifles and worth looking for. Mine has become my main deer rifle over the last couple of years. :)

I also found one (but didn't buy) that was in 280 at the Perth gun show. Never heard about these before and they sure don't make them anymore.

the .35 whelen pump was discontinued in 1995 or 1996, and the .280 was discontinued in 2000. about once a year one in .35 will pop up here in the EE. If you're fast enough, you may get one.;)
