I have the same rifle , it's grown on me to be honest . They're not usually a problematic rifle and are pretty reliable . I've owned a number of 760 7600's over the years , for the most part , they're accurate and dependable rifles . My 308 is one of those wonderful rifles that doesn't care what I feed it . It won't group under an inch at one hundred yards , close to it though , but keeps everything under 1 3/4 inches at the same distance . That'll do everything I need to do . They do run more reliably with a clean chamber as they don't have as much extraction camming force as a bolt action , nothing extreme , just general maintenance .
