Rem 770 sling holder

I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear. molded in studs are not meant for bi-pod use. Take the $450 your going to spend on the 770, and add another $100 and buy a 700 SPS. Or save a $100 and buy a Stevens 200 in an appropriate cartridge. Do yourself the favor, not me.

The 770 was meant to be a cheap entry rifle where the shooter wasn't going to necessarily add anything onto the rifle [like a bi-pod]

If it were me I pony up the extra $100 and get an SPS or just buy a Stevens 200....
