Shot these groups this weekend, I was very impressed with the accuracy of this budget rifle! All reloads, bigger groups are 58gr bullets and that tiny group is 5 shots with 80gr bullets, I think I found what this rifle likes the best! Thought I'd share :)

I have a 783 in .308..my groups are similar. Great gun for the money, I am glad I bought mine.

Nice looking targets. Anyone have this rifle in 7mm rem mag? I am wanting one

Had one, worked great, only sold it because I got a deal on a Vanguard in 7mm. If you do a search on here you will find a thread where a guy was shooting 2" groups at 300yards with his. Best value budget guns no doubt.
Still have one in 30'06 I won't part with.

.243's are really accurate, never owned one that wouldn't shot MOA with almost any load. The spread in the groups with 58 gr. bullets is do to the barrel twist in Remington rifles being 9 1/8", most manufactures use 10". As you've found, 70gr. and above Rem's in 243 become tack drivers. But the groups you're getting with the 58 gr. would take any coyote out.

I think I might try and work on a load with the 58gr to try and make those groups tighter but a slightly heavier bullet might be a better option, this will be a yote load.

Once you think you have the correct load....shoot 5 groups to see what you have, 1 good group could have been lucky.
