Rem 783 Bull Barrel Muzzle Break / Fake Suppressor recommendations

Hello all I’m looking for A muzzle break or fake Suppressor to finish off my MTD 783 Build but I Don’t know what Threads the barrel nor on which one to buy all and And help is Greatly appreciated please Feel Free to message me thank you

Threads are 5/8x24. Grab yourself an MDT brake. I have one, works great, easy to install and the price is right

A common thread for that application is 5/8x24. I would be surprised if it was different, but I wouldn't take that to the bank. Someone will chime in and confirm I'm sure.

Fake suppressors are about as cool and functional as putting spinners on a soccer van.

Get a self timing muzzle brake. My personal favorite is the Insite Arms Heathen, but there's lots of good options on the market. If you don't go self timing, you'll be stuck with using something stupid like crush washers or the like.

X2 on the mdt brake, have the exact same 783 build you have and the .308 feels like my .223. Its a bit beefy but effective.

True north arms sells fake cans. I swap between a fake can for hunting and muzzle brake for target shooting. I like to watch my impacts so i use the brake but its just to much of an ####### for hunting without hearing protection. Poi doesnt change and the fake can gets the muzzle blast another 4" out and adds just enough barrel weight that i like for offhand shooting. Also becomes a carry handle when i carry it over my shoulder
