Any thoughts on the cartridge?

I think it's dead. Remington's already chambering 270 & 300 WSM's. Hopefully 7mm will be next.

I like the idea of 7. Very versatile w/ excellent hunting bullets up to 175 grains and a good variety of target/match bullets.

what he said. Interestingly, John Barsness from rifle/handloader thinks it's the best of all the short mags.

I had one for a while, it is a great caliber. Very accurate and a quick killer without the recoil of the .30's. (I bought mine post shoulder surgery and it worked great). Pretty easy to reload for too.

Delaers can't move many of them ... should be some good deals out
there if you ask around.

Bet shells aren't a problem for a good while yet.

excellent cartridge, poorly marketed. I regret selling mine, it was unfussy and accurate
