rem 870 express loose barrel

decided to sandblast and polish my rem.870 express. i dont remember if it was like that before, but now my barrel is loose in the reciever.
is that normal ? i sandblasted attachment on the barrel but it was really smooth, just enough to remove all dust and paint, no more.
how can i remove this loose ?

someone ever had this problem ?
normal or not ?
how to fix it properly ?

"...is that normal..." Nope. You've likely taken off some metal. You could try having a finish put on that adds a bit of material. Hard chrome does it.
