Hey guys, I am not sure if this is the right forum or if something similar has been discussed, but I could not find anything using the search.
I have an older 870 Wingmaster I am bringing back to life for my bird gun. Am currently refinishing the stock, and ordered a matte vent rib barrel. The receiver is gloss blued. I want the receiver to match the rest of the gun, so I want to refinish it matte or satin black. I know using just rattle can won't give me a super durable finish, but would work. Should I look in to cerakote or something similar? Or is a rattle can sufficient for what I will be doing?
Let me know!
Andrew
