Rem 870 Gunsmith

Hi does anyone know of a really good 870 gunsmith preferably in BC but will look elsewhere if necessary? it has happened only twice but a round feeds out of the mag before called for and when i rack the action another pops out.i think maybe the little stopper may be worn. Thanks Dan

New latches (one on each side) should cure that. They need to be staked in properly.

They would be more than qualified but I suspect they are too busy with their custom orders/runs. If it were me I’d look at ordering a set of staking tools or possibly making something, should be a relatively easy job if you’re a handy guy once the proper tool is used.
