So I recently acquired one of these old school metal "law enforcement only" top folding stocks with pistol grip for the REM 870.It's in very good shape, and I have no real use for it.I wonder of any of you shotgun enthusiasts/historians can tell me what it may be worth on the open market?
any and all help is much appreciated.

ive seen several in the EE for around $60-80.
they look nice but from what people have used them have told me they are uncomfortable to shoot and the plastic gets brittle.

aside from that they are the best-looking folding sg stock, IMO.

Have you got a picture of it?

no,but I could get one out on monday(left the camera at work!)
Seems to me it should be worth a little more than $60-$80,seeing as how a butler creek metal side folder goes for $110.I agree it does not look like it would be comfy to shoot!I had it mounted on the old wingmaster and it hurt just shouldering it!

They used to sell for $100 or more, than the market got flooded with the folding stocks off a bunch of police trade ins a year or two ago. Believe that I paid around $30-50 for mine. Still haven't done anything with it.

Plastic? What plastic? The only plastic part is the pistol grip and it sure isn't flimsy, mine looks like it took quite a few good whacks going in and out of a cruiser.

I sold one on ebay two or three years ago and got something like $180 for it.

They a very uncomfortable stock, that's why I got clear of mine. They beat the crap out of your cheek and shoulder.
