Wow, what a deal. I have 2 police shotguns and they are great
 
The 870 Police looks like a sweet gun. I don't know why, though, they would choose to put a 4 round magazine on a tactical pump shotgun with a 20" barrel. ?? Seems to me that another 3 rounds might come in handy in some situations that this gun is intended for.
 
Likely it will say POLICE on the receiver just like my last one I sadly (and regretably) sold a couple of years ago.... I'm reading somewhere that's it's the plastic or resin or polymer trigger guard. That works for me since I'm not deploying overseas with this 870P, but merely killing (with extreme prejudice) machine tossed clay birds (doubles, I might add...) :cool: at my 'in-laws' property.... :evil:

Okay you experienced waterfowlers... If I'm gonna slap on a 26" duck VR barrel for some ducks this fall, I gotta go and get me a plug to limit the tube magazine, correct? Been a while since I been duck shooting (not hunting because I kinda suck....) Haven't killed a duck in years/decades...

I snagged the last one! :d

When I logged onto SFRC there were 2 listed. I just updated my info maybe 5 minutes then went back to the shotgun page and there was only 1 left!

I've regretted selling my bead sight police earlier this year. So seeing this was too good to pass up!
 
Remington also has rebates on the 870, 50 dollars US if purchased on the 18th or before, 60 bucks if purchased on the 19th or later. (different promotions)
