rem 870 stock bolt

anyone know where i can find a stock bolt for a remington 870 shotgun I have the long bolt but need the short bol, I can trade the long bolt or will buy it if you got a small bolt. thanks

Ive tried all hardware stores and no luck yet

It might be easier to make one. Find out the bolt size and thread pitch. Easy enough with a suitable die.

You are in luck, you can always make a long bolt shorter. It is more difficult going the other way though.
