My favorite gun store (Hunter's) just got a shipment of very cool Remington 870 Tactical Magnums in O/D green. They are fitted with a Knoxx Spec-Ops adjustable M4 style butt stock. These apparently have two different springs that absorb recoil. My question is has anybody used one of these stocks? Do they really work? I love the look of this combat shottie and will probably pick one up. Just thought I would ask for opinions. Thanks!:)
 
they dont as great as everyone says they do but it will still reduce felt recoil. dont get that pain in the pack of my neck after shooting 3, 31/2" 00buck as fast as i can anymore. makes the recoil more of a shove rather than sudden.

plus...it looks cool :D

im gonna try a video to show how each spring part works but heres some pics of one mounted on a gun.

I wouldnt say not as great, because that to me requires a comparison as not as great as a different stock.

My buddies shotgun with 3" buck vs my knoxx and id WAY rather shoot mine all day. It works. And the amount that it works, is enough for me to love it.
 
i was looking at mine and it seems like it would fit and look good. theres plenty of threads that grab on the bolt in the specops so i wouldnt think that the 1/8" (looks like about that?) extra would hurt anything.
