Anybody know a dealer that sells these? ANy idea on price? ANy of the above sponsors have them? THanks for any help. I can only seem to find them for sale in the US.

Thanks...Wilson lists P&D as supplier. They had the Wilson stuff in stock. So I ordered a tube extension. Also got the Speedfeed Standard Stock. Was wondering...how do you get the front slide off the the 870? I take it the rear stock is held on by a bolt accessed underneath the recoil pad? Thanks for any help.

directions on how to remove forend up :)

to get the slide off of the gun you have to remove the barrel, then depress the magazine feed rail on the left hand side of the gun , basically look into the shotgun from the feed ramp and you will see a bar on the far side that holds the shell in the magazine until needed, to remove the slide just depress it and the slide pulls off.

hey many thanks for the help. Lol any idea if I will get lucky enough to get a tool with the new speedfeed stock?

here is a picture of my 870 with speedfeed and surefire forend....

Nice pic. Yeah I ruled out the flashlight after I contacted surefire. THey told me that with my mini 14 inch barrel over time with the light hangin out past the barrel that it woudl eventually get blown to bits....hmmm to much money for it to get wrecked. How is the recoil pad on the speedfeed stock? I have never seen one up close..other than pictures... No problems with big slugs?

no problems yet, all I shoot out of this one is 3" 1.25 oz federal slugs and so far so good.

you can get a light that works with the 14" barrel... contact skullboy and he will fill you in on what surefire you need..... he has one on his 14"

Not sure, contacted Surefire directly for tech help. They have several that fit...but they said all their models would not stand up to sustained fire over a long period with them being exposed to muzzle blast. Its not biggie. When the aliens land, no doubt they will glow in the dark..so it will be ok.

Thanks for the help with stocks and stuff

Never ghappend yet ??

Oups, i have never hade trouble with mine yet, there is a plug that you can screw when you are on the range during day light, this shotgun have seen extensive shooting with the light on it, even in IPSC and never removed the light ??? there is a 3 volt instead of 6 volt available for short barrel...

Hey, westicle, is it a stock i sell you ??? Very nice shotgun

yeah I dunno...I have not experience with it. I contacted Surefire...and about 3 weeks later they sent a long reply saying basically it was a bad idea... Maybe they are wrong? If it works it works?

what I am going to do with mine is install a butler creek flip up cap on it..... I know surefire makes some to but they are not exactly what I want....

I personally don;t see the shotgun damaging the light when it is so far below the muzzle, and frankly do what I am going to do with the cap and your set.

I have surefires on my mossberg also......

I made a fore stock tool from a piece of 1" nylon dowel with a 3/16" metal rod that was 1 1/4" long pushed across the dowel. Made from scrap lying around. Maybe that helps. Sorry if it's not appropriate for this thread.

Well I got the fore-end off. Used a pair of needlenose pliers with a 90 degree bend in them. With the pliers it took about 5 seconds once I figured out where to place them then the entire rail came out. Much easier than I thought. Installation basically the reverse?

You should't have to use pliers to get the forend off...try reaching in throught the loading port with your fingers to engage the release. Once you have done this a couple of times it will be a snap. For what it's worth were getting ready to do another Wilson/Scattergun order and hope to have some shotguns in the next order along with more parts.
