Rem. 870

So, I was in the local gun shop today and was playing with one of these. Priced at around $560. I'm thinking I may get myself one once I have some money.

Any opinions on how these perform? How's the quality of the stock etc...

Is that an ATI folding stock???If it is, it a piece of crap, but the gun itself, the 870, they're awesome.I feed mine anything and everything, never had a problem.Great Gun!

Nice gun action but...
that gun is sinfully ugly
If somebody held me up with that thing i'd give them money and buy them a decent looking stock and sights

It's a Butler Creek stock, and the one I was looking at didn't have those sights. I'd put the fibre optic sights on. As for the stock being ugly, I kinda like it. lol. Perhaps you may suggest a better looking folder?

the 870 is only worth 350 by itself. the stock isn't worth 200..

buy a plain one. add the stock yourself. save money, and you'll still have the factory stock.
