Rem 887 front sight and gravel agency(warranty and parts)

After coming in from a recent duck hunting trip from my back '40, I noticed that the front hi-viz sight assembly had fallen/knocked off. I went out again looked for it, and hunted a bit. I decided that I liked better with the sight on. I emailed Remington to find out where I could buy a new one as I didn't think it would be under warranty. They replied immediately forwarding me to the Gravel Agency. After I talked with them they informed that it would be covered under warranty( The Gun is 2 years old!) they sent me a form to fill out and send back to them and they would send me a new sight for free, just sending the form back now.

Anyone else deal with these guys, how are they?

I just spent the last 3 months dealing with locatioen snapshots and that was mixed good and bad.

I hope they just send me the sight as it right smack in the middle of duck and goose season and can't be with out it


PS why are the warranty centres in Quebec why not more central canada(I'm in BC)?

Gravel is amazing to deal with.

I bought a Versmamax second hand that the previous owner had butchered, effed up the mag tube, lost the mag spring retainer etc.

They helped get everything to me pretty quickly.

They replaced the barrel of my 887 back when I had that thing, and like others said were good to deal with.
