REM arms discontinue 870 Express and Wingmaster!

Ok, lets get this thread back on track.
So, what or who is the source that Wingmasters have been dropped from the product line?
All I can find ... is that the Fieldmaster is supposed to replace the Express.
But I can't find any reference to Wingmasters not being produced any more.

YUP .... I have a 26" Special Purpose 870 with original box that just took a big jump as well.
Agree. 7600 243 is gone also which is sad but have a few of those
Big bucks now Not one 28ga in 870 or 1100 any more
Just wait to see the price of those in 2 years used. No more police models either

I would pay that for a Wingmaster as long as they put out a high quality gun. With plastic Benelli, Beretta and Browning semis going easily for over 2k now, I would gladly pay 1k for a well finished blued and wood pump gun. They look better, feel better, and they improve my shooting by at least 10%

Don't know about the new lineup but bought this one at Prophet River just before Rem went under...it still hasn't been fired. That is just how us Remington hater's roll!

Not me, I will take peoples hated express for a deal and spend 30-60 min making it smooth as silk.

I'm guessing with the way this world is going , the police will just use whatever shotguns they already have till the are completly beat to $hit
every police force has carbines now, they have replaced the shotguns, Remington probably has not had an order for 870p from a police force for sometime now
So safe to say we will probably never see the 870 marine magnums ever again either ?
The marines are there listed. You can bet they will still make the police but only for law enforcement orders not the general public IMHO
