Apparently Remington themselves cannot determine whether the XCR Compact Tactical rifles have the 40-X trigger system or the X-Mark Pro trigger system installed on these rifles. The following information is provided on the Remington website:

Our product descriptions come directly from the manufacturer's invoice included with each firearm. The invoice for the new XCR Compact Tactical rifles lists these guns as having the 40-X trigger installed, as does their website, noted above.
All of the XCR Compact Tactical rifles we had or have in stock were fitted with the X-Mark Pro trigger. The online descriptions for any remaining XCR Compact Tactical rifles in .223 Rem or .308 Win still in our inventory have been corrected to reflect this detail.

ALL Remington 700 rifles sold through Ellwood Epps since the recall announcement on the X-Mark Pro triggers was announced by Remington were shipped back to the Canadian distributor to have the required servicing on those trigger completed at their warehouse. If the OP's rifles has an X-Mark Pro trigger system installed, the recall and clean-up has been performed on that rifle.
