Rem express refinish Q?

Hey there All!

I would like to refinish a field abused 870 express with a do it yourself urban camo type job.

It is currently wearing it's original bead matte blue on the barrel and receiver.

I'm thinking of something along the lines of a spray on/paint on and bake finish.
I would like to do a urban camo or desert tan kind of thing.

Any advice/links/experience/things to try or stay away from?

I usually sand blast everything, parkerize and coat with Arma-Coat or KG GunKote.
Simply tape off the pattern or you can get stencils from Arma-Coat (they have a lot to choose from).
That way they should well outlast any owner.
