During two weeks in Jan (when the weather was warmer) I shot two three shot groups from my .308 LTR @ 100M each day over 10 days. There was some (not a lot) of variation in temperature, wind, light conditions. The largest group measured 0.66" c to c and the smallest 0.15". Average over 20 groups was 0.41". This rifle is "out of the box". I started with a 30 shot break-in. All I did was some trigger adjustment and spent a bit of time trying different torques on the action screws.
I pick up a new Kimber Longmaster Classic .308 tomorrow so the LTR goes back in the safe until I need my confidence back! I also had a Rem 700 CDL in 7mm-08 on order but since Wholesale Sports could not get it from Calgary to Edmonton in six weeks ... I will start with the Kimber.
