Rem model 597 or Marlin model 60

Been lucky so far, I own a 597 and never had feeding problems. Used almost any type of 22LR from the crappy t-bolt & wildcat with no problem.. oh well there were misfires, but does that count??? It likes the win super X & CCI. Been shooting tight spread of 1/2'' - 1" from 50yds since I painstakingly zeroed the sight. :D :D
I am happy with my 597 :)

A guy on this forum had one and he loved it. It basically the 795 with a heavy barrel. If going by the 795, it has to be one crazy accurate rifle. I found some 15 round mags for the gun if you're into a larger capacity they are at numrich. The top one that says its good for 70 and 70P the papoose which uses the same mags.

I'm going to order a few and see how they work. I'll keep you posted. In fact I'll post it in the rimfire forum for those with the same gun.

Sorry for the long delay on the report guy,s.The boy,s Marlin 60 is a great rifle will shoot 1" groups at 50 yards or better with most any ammo(seems to like CCI Blazers best)never jams or stove bolts, will out shoot the Ruger 10/22 all day. When we first got it from S.I.R mailorder we found the stock too thick so we sanded off a good portion of wood to thinner down a bit.Like the heavier barrel on the 60 as compared to the 10/22,and loved the price,$168.00 or so for the 60 that came with a scope(kinda cheap but free).I would highly recommend the Marlin model 60 rifle and also S.I.R mailorder for price and service........Happy shootin guy,s
