Rem Model 710 7mm .... Opened the box on the range :)

My very 1st firearm was a 710 bought 5yrs ago. At the time it was an introduction to hunting for me. It has done all I have ever wanted and is still my only large calibre rifle.
My only complaint is the front swivel. The bipod has put too much pressure on it and was ripped out. Was only anchored to the stock which is plastic. I did upgrade the scope. I will have a nicer rifle for next year cause finances will be different but my wife is learning with my 710 and therefore my rifle has brought 6 people to the shooting sports, and turned 4 into hunters. Now however I think there are better rifles to be bought in the same price range. Not as many choices 5yrs ago as there are now. Enjoy your rifles boys and girls whatever you shoot.

How many times do we have to talk about the 710. My buddy had one I could make it shoot groups, but what a POS. He "upgraded" to a savage.
He discovered he can miss bucks and shoot does in the ass with either one.
 
I would never insult anyones rifle or woman but their is just too many good quality rifles on this board in the 400.00-450.00 range to purchase. In fact my last one was from the gentleman that just posted above me and i didn't go wrong thats for sure!!! :D
