Rem Premier Scirocco bonded loads

Well, I'll offer my 2 cents about Swift Bullets,,,,,

I started shooting 180gr Swift A-Frames with my 300WM. For larger game such as Moose, Elk, Bear, etc, these bullets are second to none. They are one of the more popular Africa game bullets largely due to the controlled expansion and weight retention. All I can say is you can't go wrong with the A-Frame. I have also found them very easy to reload as they don't appear to be a picky on exactly how you seat them, (ie: Cartridge Overall Length).

As an added feature, Swift has some of the best customer service I have had recently. I emailed them regarding some reloading data questions and instead of a reply email, the president of the company called me at home the next day, answered all my question and then some.

The Scirocco bullet is also a very high quality bullet. Better balistics but does not hold together like the A-Frame. The Scirocco will perform more like the Nosler Accubond, just a better bullet in my humble opinion.

Just though I would add that I checked your link and am very very jealous!!! You've done an excellent job on the cabin and its in a beatiful part of the country! Congrats!

If your talking about the factory loads I couldn't get em to print under 2 1/2" Mostly I can get 3/4 " with other Rem. loads.

That's exactly what I mean to find out, when I referred to "a little range testing" in the original post.

I expect to be shooting under 150 yards, and possibly more like 80 to 100, so that's why 165g bullets, and my rifle seems to like that weight. I admit though, I haven't had a chance to try some 180's yet. I'm hoping Amphibious is going to drop off some of his secret recipe moose killers for me to try.
