Since the choke is larger as well as the bore and I am shootinh 1 3/8 steel to 1 9/16 2s, 1s, and BBs What choke should i use?

I am very familar with 12s but nopt 10s new to the game.
Does it apply to 12s as to 10s, if so a Mod choke should do however i do have a good selection of tubes.

I'm shooting an SP-10 with steel since the beginning of the regulation (steel shots only) and I'm always with the mod. choke. The gun is amazing with the Win. Supreme no 2 and BB. You'll love your SP-10, this is an amazing waterfowl gun!!

Jason.....take your gun out and pattern it on paper to give you an idea of whats going on. I have to indentical 870's. They both pattern totaly different to each other even when using the same ammo. I've swapped chokes back and forth aswell as ammo type and they never shoot the same as each other. They both shoot well with the right load but never the same.
You are on the right track though when wondering about the difference in bore dia. If you shoot two equal weight loads of steel shot, one in a 12ga and one in 10ga the load in the 12ga will compress more going through the choke and have a poorer pattern. In theory you should be able to put that same charge weight through a tighter (by name) choke in a 10ga and still have good results. Thats part of the idea behind overboreing/backboreing a 12ga. If I was you I'd be trying a mod for starters and then see what the difference between that and an Improved mod. is if you have one.

They are a wad stripping choke. Theory is completely different than conventional constiction chokes. Works very well with large steel shot. Wad Wizard also makes a similar product.

Do a google search, both have websites.
