Rem VTR

I was seriously considering one of these, they are a way cool looking rifle, but, in the end opted for a SPS 700 Varmint, more gun for less $$$. The muzzle brake I wouldn't consider necessary on the VTR and is there for cosmetics I presume, as I well imagine the Triangle barrel is also. I can't comment on accuracy but the SPS I bought so far has impressed me at the range.

I purchased one in .308.I've put about 100 rounds of factory ammo through it so far and have averaged 1.5" groups at 100 yards.I don't believe the muzzle brake does anything( along with the triangular barrell). It's just for looks imo.I just took the scope off and replaced it with another so it's time to get to the range again. Cheers Bac4

Ugly little suckers. Triangle barrel? Brake on a .204? All that accomplishes is to shorten it even more. More Remington panic marketing by committee. And what do they call that color - rotten meat green? Don't like them at all.....but then again some people still think the Gremlin was a cool looking car.
