Rem700 factory oversized bolt knob removal?

Does anyone know if the oversized bolt handle knob on factory rem700 mil spec, magpul or pcr models are removable and threaded on?

Yes threaded on for the mil-soec gen 2

I don't think so.

A heat gun till hot to the touch then wrap with a strip of leather and a ViceGrip and it should unscrew.
