Remaining handgun stock thread. Still looking? Let's help clear the last of them.

RDSC Shadow Systems is already gone.

I snagged a Ruger Bearcat from TNT Gunworks recently. Transaction went smoothly and now just awaiting arrival via Canada Post. They have some other pistols worth looking at.

Kelvin's Taxidermy also still has what appears to be an original model Ruger Single Six for $425. Good price. Also a buntline Ruger Single Six New Model with extra cylinder and very good condition for $750. Also a fair price. Surprised these 22's are still kicking around.

Marstar has CZ P10 for $840.

Also surprised that Ruger Mark IV Hunter still available at Easthill.

It looks like $200 is an industry standard ;)

Just filling in the info here. Congrats to the person who snagged this G17.2 in the photo (not sure about the other one later listed by Ellwood), it's actually not a bad price at all given the current market.

These are Dutch military surplus that we will never see again even if there is no handgun ban/freeze in the play. A couple years ago, there was a batch of small arms sold by Dutch defense to an European firearms broker, including 800 MP5's and an unknown number of Glocks (mostly Gen2 17's and a small amount of Gen3s 17's). These Glocks all have serial #s on the left side of the slide as opposed to the right side typically seen for civilian market. The serials are also Prefixed by "NL" which designates for Netherlands. These surplus are the result of newer acquisitions of Gen4 Glocks made by Dutch army in 2017. The slide, barrel and frame of these Glock all features proof stamp of the Austria firearms proof office, similar to this one pic linked here

. As far as I know, only a small number was imported by dealers in the US and Canada. The committee of Dutch defense that approved the original sale, was grilled by their MP's when the information surfaced. So these are definitely very very rare gem and whatever made into Canada back then is all there is available.

But of course, from another perspective, it's just an used and beat-up Glock 17... to each of their own. :)

So we'd need to source a g22 frame, barrel, extractor and recoil spring to make it fully functional? Hmmm

Uhm, no. You don't need a different frame.

The frame (lower) is complete and good to go. You need a complete upper half (slide, barrel and parts) to make it functional. The slide on the training Glocks does not have a firing pin hole and I don't believe the barrel will chamber ammunition.

Any Glock or aftermarket Gen 3 upper half will fit. The Nomad, PSA and Polymer 90 uppers are all compatible.

Ah sorry, I meant slide. That makes sense now why people were scooping them up! Thanks for the feedback.

Keeps it fun in these "freeze" days. Tempted to grab a second to have a few different builds. Only 4 left....
