If, like me, you have old eyes, wear progressive lenses and see fuzzy sights and the target as a blurry blob, allow me to recommend the Merit Optical Attachment (Brownell's, $65.)
It's a small adjustable aperture that attaches to your glasses with a small suction cup. It weighs practically nothing and appears to be well made.
I tried it for the first time today and was delighted with the results. Not only the target, but both (handgun) sights snapped into sharp focus and remained that way throught an hour shooting session. My group sizes were only slightly better than before, but this was probably because I was so thrilled at actually seeing the sights I was firing rapidly and not paying as much attention to breathing and the other elements.
I suppose a red dot is another alternative, but the MOA is at the lower end of the price scale and can, of course, be used with any gun you're shooting. This item is now a permanent accessory in my range bag.
