Coming from a Veteran, I don’t see this as ‘distasteful’

At least they’re acknowledging Remembrance Day / Veterans Day.
Many companies don’t acknowledge it, or don’t stop for a moment of silence. Depending on what province you’re from, it’s a holiday - or just a regular work day.

I for one don't donate a single penny, for example UNICEF is the biggest scam going, I don't know if my money will actually reach those in need

Let's all keep in mind that Remembrace Day is a day for solemn reflection on those who died, who suffered and sacrificed for our country, our freedoms...that they will not be forgotten.

Remember them and their sacrifice.
