Reminder Ontario antlerless: ONE WEEK LEFT

This will be my first year out, looking forward to it no matter what the result of the draw is. :)

My first year out as well. Looking very forward to the antlerless and controlled hunts. Put in the application a month ago. Any idea of when the draw results are usually sent out?

By the 21st, actually, so don't put it off! :p

From the "bible"

Hunters who wish to apply to the antlerless deer draw may
use one of two methods. For your convenience, you may
purchase your resident’s deer licence tag (the sticker
that goes on the back of your Outdoors Card) and apply to
the antlerless deer draw in one toll-free call to

1-800-288-1155 between March 1 to July 31. This line is
available 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Draw Results Telephone Line

Draw applicants may call the toll-free Draw Results Line at
1-800-288-1155 to determine the results of the Antlerless
Deer Draw. This automated line runs 24 hours a day, seven
days a week from August 25 until December 31. Hunters
will need their 15-digit Outdoors Card number to access
their draw record.

I have a question, is there any possible way to apply for a second deer tag? or do you only get one per year? I just realized that the antlerless tag meant you could take either an antlered deer or an antlerless deer.

In a controlled hunt, do you receive a tag for another deer? I am planning on going hunting with different people in different WMU's this year, so if I got one deer on one trip, I was hoping to potentially be able to still get another deer with another friend.

Only if the WMU that you plan on hunting in has it check your regs

:dancingbanana: :D :dancingbanana:

Found out a week or so ago that all six of us in my group of hunters won a doe permit here in Quebec. Once again like last year, if you shoot the doe first, you can then take your buck second.

Nowfor the thing that pee's me off. For the first time they are charging us $20 to get the doe permit, which I can live with, but they do not explain where the money is going.

I'm "in" ... have been for a month . My Forty - FIRST year.

Remember "back in the day". Combined Deer/Bear License $ 5.oo . Any deer, buck doe or fawn. And no Hunter Orange. Most wore black & red wool check.
