Over the last few weeks shooting clays, I've had zero issues with my Mossberg 535. I put about 120 shells through it last week, and had no problems, until this week when I bought 10 rounds of 00 buck Remington and had 3 misfires. The pin hit the primer, but the shell did not fire. The primer had the usual dent in it as if it were fired. This was only with the remington ammunition, as I use Federal and Winchester religiously in all my shotguns.
The ONLY thing that I could think of is that I did something to the Shotgun while cleaning it the night before. My friends and I both agree that a centerfire would be hard to have a misfire with.
Do you think it's the Remington Shells or the Mossberg itself?
*Edit* Just realized I spelled Remington incorrectly in the thread Title
