Remington 1100 repair

Long story short, I have a Remington 1100 in my possession (I dont own it) that apparently requires a new interceptor latch stud. I replaced the missing retainer clip hoping that would be the only problem but they very first shot blew the retainer off again. What are the options for repairing this problem? Is there a through receiver replacement that can be done ir does it need to be a new one soldered on again? Either way, this thing is going to have to go to a smith for repair as this is outside my abilities to fix...

Head to Sail in Oshawa. Go to gun counter, ask for John Holman. Great guy, does some amazing gun smith work on the side. Don't worry, some part time flunky will not be working on your gun. Tell John Steve Bogdon sent you.

Epp's is near Orillia. Very long drive from Kingston. So is Oshawa.
