Remington 14 870P Ghost Ring

The front sight is just a standard Remington ramped sight and the rear looks like a Wilson combat. I would suggest you call Tac Ordnance, he can sell you a set and also install them for you.

I’ve got Wilson Combat ghost rings on my 14” 870. Installed them myself.

Brownells will special order them from Wilson Combat. There are different height front sights for different barrel lengths.

I think Wolverine Supply can also custom order the taller sight set for 14” barrels.

The Police version is not available anymore new and sometimes you just have to build it when you can't buy it.

My first 870 build.
An older 1990's HD model with a used 14" Mod choked Police barrel. Added a set Scattergun sights with the red fiber optic dot instead of tritium dot. My plan is to use mostly for bush and not actual home defense, so night sights are irrelevant to me.
Drilling and tapping the rear was easy with a milling machine and the front bead gets filed down then epoxy the front sight on. The dimples were swaged out so I can add a one shot extension if I want.
Showing the Remington stock photo of theirs compared to mine. As close as I can get for a lot less.

Nice build EHG. There are several different 14" 870P GR models available from Remington just so you know though.
Thanks, for sure and glad to see that.
I just like the old school look. Flat and smooth. I've been wanting this since the 80's and finally could at least build it for a fraction of what Wilson charges.
Took it out today and zeroed some slugs @ 50 yds. Was able to keep 5 rounds inside my fist @ 50 and most inside a 12" gong @100yds. Buckshot groups good up to 25 yds and birdshot hits where I aim. This was with cheap ammo.
My longer barreled shotguns will do better, but this will work for me on my daily walks in the bush.
