Remington 1911 R1

A forged frame model without the FP block would be nice. The price would go up, but that's to be expected. It's one sweet lookin' 1911 though! :)
 
I've had one for a bit and I like it. It is accurate and the trigger in actually good I was surprised at that.

The one thing I did not like is I damaged the one grip and I replaced it and found out the screws were some type of powdered white metal and not steel as they snapped - so they all got replaced.

I had one quality control issue - it would not lock back on last round all the time and I thought it was the mag but I used my mags from my other 1911's and they all did the same thing. So I looked at the slide stop and there was a flat spot so I smoothed that out a bit and it seems to be fine now.

But other that I am really impressed with the gun and would buy it again.
