Remington 1911 RAC grip swapping.

I have a Remington 1911 RAC bb pistol. I think the grips are the same as "real" 1911 grips in terms of shape and size.

I'm thinking of swapping them for these canadian ones:

Does anyone know if it can be done? before I spend money.
