Remington +2 factory extension

Are these still available anywhere but ebay? I've got an email off to Gravel already, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

I know there are other tubes available, but I'm looking for a certain aesthetic for this gun.

That is not factory, I know Simon makes good stuff, I'm just specifically looking for a Remington factory for a specific look I am trying to achieve.
 
They pop up on the ee regularly, I’ve seen blued and matte recently.

I know what you mean by the factory look, it’s a certain look that the aftermarket can’t mimic. The clamp is part of it I think.

That strikes me as odd. There are currently new models that have the extended mag tube sitting on dealer shelves. Unless they changed it and didn’t update web photos?

I got mine off the EE last year. If you’re patient one will eventually show up at a reasonable price.

Gravle is useless when it comes to parts
 
Remarms is still selling 870 Police and 870 Marine shotguns with that +2 extension.

So parkerized and nickel plated version should still be available as spare parts.

Now polished blued ones I believe were discontinued.
And I am not sure about matt blued ones.
I didn't see any any Tactical 870s any more on Remarms website and that would use the matt blued extension.

The SKU I asked about in my inquiry to Gravel was 19420, which is the Remington P/N for the parkerized extension. the blued +2 is 19419. These are the old Remington SKUs, I don't know if they maintained the old lines, or if any of the tactical models will even come with the extension on them now, or just that stupid 6 shot one piece magazine tube.

I just had a closer look at Remarms website. They are still selling a Model 870 Home Defense with a +2 extension.

So, matte blued +2 extensions should still be around as a spare part.
 
Well, this US service center still has stock. But they do not ship to Canada.
You would have to find a way to bring it across the border.

Shotgun magazine extensions, are classified as 0A502 and no US export permit is needed if the total value is less than USD $500.- .

Just got an email back from irunguns, it would be appear that both kits have been discontinued by Remington. So anything remaining at dealers or service centers in NOS. Not sure if that means remarms is discontinuing the home defense line when They run out.

I have a hard time believing that. There are lots of brand new 870s on dealer shelves that use the +2 extension. What I think is far more likely is that RemArms is concentrating on getting complete firearms out the door and aren’t at the point that they can make enough spare parts to supply demand. What limited spare parts that are available all seem to go gunrepaircenter dot com. As far as I’m aware they’re the official distributor for spare parts. No one else seems to have parts. They actually have one +2 extension in stock right now. I’d try to get that one ordered through someone like Prophet River.
 
Well, I bought a S&J extension for $100.- .... but then had to get it polished and blued ... and to match the finish of my Wingmaster. That cost me an additional $200.- ...

So maybe what the guy is asking is not so unreasonable.

The only source I know for a factoy +2 extension is a dealer in the US and who sells it for USD $130.- .... and that dealer does not ship to Canada. So that is around CAD $170.- plus shipping and taxes .... and then I would need to drive down to the border to pick it up. So, with gas and everyting ... I would end up at around CAD $300.- .....
