so here is another question for you guys! i have a remington 700 .308. It is completely stock (still the way it is the way it came in the box) with a leupold 3X9X40 scope. I was wondering if a detachable magazine was a good idea to do for this gun. Now, i do get some people tell me, don't do it because its not easy to do, don't do it because it doesn't look good, don't do it because the 700 currently has a flush mag and it looks good. Now some people tell me do it because, a detach mag is easier to use i.e. reloading and accessibility, some people tell me it looks better. Anyways i get the do's and Dont's. what i want to know is if i where to get it done, i was reffered to by a few people who did it on the 700 model to go get a HS precision DM. what i want to know has anyone done it on the stock 700 SPS platform is it easy to do is it worth it. Aswell i want to do it because it would be easier to reload or unload my gun with DM rather then the spring loaded magazine that is annoying to load when its cold outside or you can't see much as well when unloading. let me know what you guys think!?
