Remington 3200 trap gun

Presuming that it is in Great condition somewhere around $1500 to $2000 They are considered one of the better trap guns. We have several that get there share of targets. Are you selling? I may know some one who is buying.

I have a 3200 and am always looking at ones I see for sale. So far this year I've seen a couple beat up trap ones for $1100-$1200. Some good shape special traps for around $1700 and a couple of comp. grades for around $2000. Those were 30" models. 32" models go for a bit more as they were alot less common.
These guns have all had the Remington factory updates to them. Non updates guns seem to go for around $400 less if they are sold to someone who know about them. To tell if its been up dated there should be a "." between the OU and the numbers in the serial number on the bottom of the reciever. eg. OU . 123456 . If theres no "." then Remington didnt do the updates and being in Canada its very unlikely that anyone else did.

No it's not for sale. But thanks for all the info trex!! It actually belongs to a buddy of mine and he doesn't know much about it other than it was worked on by someone in Ontario. One bbl. choke was opened up and a has a different stock on it, as well as the original. It is apparently in great shape, he just can't seem to bust birds with it. Possibly fit? I will get him to check for the update marks for sure.
 
There should also be 2 allen head screws at the bottom of the breechface if ALL the updates are done. The dot at the serial number that TREX is talking about is for the forearm update only! A great trapgun if the updates are done!!!!
 
m12man...according to Remington they were only doing the reciever (2 allen head bolts) at first to the 3200's and were marking them with the "." to show that . It wasn't till a couple years later they ran into the forearm problem and did both updates on the guns they got and continued to mark them with just a "." They had never done just the forearm updates unless it was on a gun that had already had the reciever updates and came back at a later date. Thats what the guy at Remington told me over the phone before I bought mine and was doing some research on them.

I think that we 3200 owners should be telling guys the "true" value of their guns in case they are interested in selling.You know,around $450 IF you can find someone who wants one. :wink: Know what I mean?

Just sold one like new with 32' barrels,for 1500.00 that is about the top end,parts are very hard to come by, of you shoot alot that needs to be considered.this one had gorgeous wood as well.

If you dont mind spilling the beans where did you see the comp grades for sale? I am currently looking for a 3200 Trap with 30" barrels. I would prefer a special trap or comp grade to a standard. Would appreciate any ino you can send my way.
