Remington 45-70 bolt action

Remington Keene rifle,not a particularly strong action.If memory serves me correct it doesn t have any locking lugs bolt uses handle as a lock.that said real cool gun would love to have one

probably all the previous owners got a bolt in the face and retired them, possibly cause for the "Hens tooth" status.

A beauty one to get is the 1882 Remington Lee in .45-70 in military or sporter version. Good luck with that one.
