Remington 45-70

Hi, I'm new here and this will be my first post. I just inherited a Remington 45-70 today. It has an octagonal barrel and a falling block (I think). It was my great grandpa's, and was used for hunting buffalo. Here is a pic...
I was wondering if anyone knew the model and approximate year this was made. Thanks.

That's a Remington-Hepburn, made between 1880 and 1904

Very nice old rem. Hepburn, quite a desirable rifle, worth more then a comparable Rolling Block, I've always wanted one.
