Remington 50th Anniversary 7mm rem mag

Dunno about the checkering, and aside from that it looks like a normal BDL:

1962,............if you were lucky enough to be carrying one of these babies that fall chambered for the Big 7,....you were probaly one of the coolest guy's in the field!!!!!;)

I skimmed through a write up in a magazine about it .. something along lines of:

gloss walnut, highly polished blueing. barrel taper seemed a little larger than current models and more fleur de lis checkering on the tang with engraving on bottom. and of course 7mm rem mag!

what's not to like :)
