I recently picked up a Remington 510 Target Master single shot .22, Mossberg 340BA reapeater, and a Ithaca model 72 lever action saddle gun. All are in fairly good condition. I am just wondering if anybody could tell me anything about these guns (ex. problems or known flaws) as I have no past experiance with any of these. All have good bores and seem to shoot excellent with open sights at 25 yards. Dollar value would be helpful as well.
Thanks

Are you sure you have the correct model on the Mossberg. The 320 series was a single shot. Value would be $100.00 to $150.00 give or take on condition and if it has original sights.

Yeah sorry about that I did have the wrong model it is a 340BA the sights appear original but I'm finding out some came with peep sights, and it is drilled and tapped on the rear of the reciever to except a rear peep.

The Mossberg 340 Ba is a 7 shot, 24" barreled, 6.5 lb. gun made from 1960-68. It takes an S330 peep sight of which there are a couple listed on ebay right now. These are "newer guns" and don't quite bring the prices (yet) that the older Mossbergs are starting to bring. Of course, value depends on condition but I would say from $100.00 poor to $175.00 very nice. Could maybe get a tad more if excellent condition, just depends on the day. It will also bring a bit more if it has the S330 peep sight on it.
