Remington 514 At Bass Pro?

Saw one of these Remington 514 Youth rifles in the bass pro flyer at a good price. It has a 16.5" Barrel and from what I read it's a marlin action?

Does anyone know about these rifles? I was thinking it'd be great to teach new shooters, taking pot shots, and one that my girlfriend (short lady) might enjoy.

Any experiences?

Saw the flier last night too...looks allot like a Marlin XT22 with a shorter barrel.
