remington 547 bolt action 22

I was considering buying one, checked out a few remington dealers for stock but only could order one, fairly long waite time, prices varied from $1090 to $1190 but that was last Aug, sure they will be up now. went with Weatherby Mark xx11 it has a anushtz action & barrel, shot it a couple times shows good promise almost as good as groups as I get with my old 540x Remington.just under 1/2" at 50y
will do range report when weather warms.
 
a 17hmr weatherby that is new in box

and I now want a 22 long rifle so I may list it in the EE shortly. they are really nice and better than a cooper unless you spend 2g to get nice wood, the annie weatherby would make a good silly wet gun and gopher gun,

do not get me wrong I have 4 coopers as well, 3 br guns and a lvt with killer wood, I mean killer wood

I was in the same boat, the only place I found that had it in stock was Epps. Did some research on the gun and changed my mind and went with a Weatherby as well which I also purchased from Epps when they wereon clear-out for 800.00 ish saved myself 400.00 and overall a great rifle with excellant wood and an Anushtz barrel and action. Will put it through its paces when the weather get better but fit and finish are superb.
