Remington 552 Bdl 95%

A friend of mine passed and his wife gave me a Remington 552 BDL in about 95%. I originally sold him this rifle new in the early 90s. Less than 200 rnds. Anybody have experience with these. Reliability? current value?

I have had one or two over the years, they are fast shooting and easy to reload as well as clean. I never had much in the way of jamming either. It was always a lot of fun to shoot. The only thing I can see being an issue with it is availability of parts. Value is hard to say without pictures. They used to go for $6-800 a few years ago but prices I have seen have come down.
