Remington 597 10rnd mag source?

Looking for some mag for my remington 597 and on the US side they have new production black mag. Could only find silver one over here anybody got a source for those over here?
Or if anybody tried the black one vs the silver one, really i just want the most reliable and in my head new production ring more reliable.
 
If it's an update they will slowly make there way up here. Sounds like they possibly are coating the interior of the magazine now. Local gunstores that deal with Remington will get them eventually.

You got both? Did it work better than the silver one? Otherwise ill just grab the silver one not that i care about the color

The one in the US been there for a few year. Starting to think that the color mean jacksh*t and they all are updated one. If so that is quite stupid on my part lol

Mine are all silver, but my buddies 597 came with a black mag. Seemed to perform the same as the silver one. Honestly, I'd just grab a few silver ones. Then you can polish them up and it'll run slick as snot.
 
ill try to get some and see if they work well, rifle extract flawlessly but once in a while, a round fail to chamber and get stuck between the chamber and the ejection port. Not that common but still enough to make me want to fix it lol
 
I am a little late to this but if you are still looking for the 10rnd black mags I grabbed a bunch from Sail on the weekend, they don't seem to list them on their website, but they had them in the back room. good price too, 19.99 with 15% off

This sometimes happens when you disassemble the 597, and, when putting it back together, you tighten the screws that hold the recoil springs in place. This puts a slight bend in the guide rod, resulting in more friction when the bolt comes back.

Tighten the screws finger tight, then backing off slightly is the way to fix that.

I found the black one works better than the silver one that came with the gun....
