Well, here it is. Since there are almost no aftermarket stocks for the 597, I made my own. I took my old grey stock and trimmed down the lower part of the buttstock and filled in where the old grip was. I added a 3/8 metal tab, shaped, drilled and tapped for an AR pistol grip. Then had the stock line-x'd.

There is not too much space behind the grip and it's a tiny bit far from the trigger. I should have moved it forward a bit, but at the time I was worried about the screws that attatch the stock to the reciver being accessable.
If I were to make another one I could easily fix those things. I have not shot it yet to see how it feels at the range.
