Just bought the rifle that came with 1 magazine and having trouble finding a spare

The new owners of Remington are not going to be building 597's anymore. The Remarms website lists them as discontinued as of 2019. A wanted to buy ad in the equipment exchange section may be your best bet.

IIRC, Remington did (does) make 30rnd mags. In my case, I'm specifically looking for the 10rnd mags.
