Remington 597 stainless

My remington 597, just turned about 10 000 rounds, not bad for a 200$ rifle. anyone else.

what mag do you use in yours? did you put new hammer and extractor in?

i am at maybe 6,000 , never had to change a part yet

No its just box stock, i use remington factory mags, 2 steel and one plastic.

Bought my 597 in 2002 and conservativly 20,000 rds through it and never had to replace one part.

Almost bought a new .22 semi this winter (just for something new) but picked up a spare stock and gave both a new paint job, now its like its new again!!

5000 rds through my acc-sd all origonal always cci blazers no fte/ftf love this gun probably one of my favorite rifles to shoot

My 597 VTR has seen about 4,000 and not a problem yet runs like a champ
