So is this brand new? How is the 597 anyway?

Who wants to bet it will either be labeled an 'AR Variant' and classified restricted, or not even make it up here at all LOL :jerkit:

New out and not up here yet and who knows if it will make it:confused: As for the 597 there are great little guns and accurate right out of the box with no mods but one might want to get the VQ hammer for a better trigger. The only 597 with major probs it the TVP (which I own along with 2 other 597's)) but I'm sure targettarget will be along any minute now to slam the whole line up of 597's as the only Remington he has owned was a lemon and he will not give up until the company goes under!!!! I love my 597's and ya the TVP has some issues but if this one makes it up here I will be in line to get one!!!!

I'm setting up training courses, I feel this will make a less expensive but just as useful tactical variant. The feel and sight pictures will remain the same, the drills for mag changes would remain the same, as 597s new 20-30round mags are working great. Not to mention that frangible ammunition is priced at a stupid level here in Canada.

I can't wait for them to be available. If anyone has a lead on them for sale let me know.

The cabelas canada site has them listed at $469.00, said backordered last week when I checked, now it doesn't....Could this be true??? or are they only avail in the states?
